The Frontier GoWild Pass is one of the best deals in travel when you buy it on a good offer. It is a much worse deal if you let it quietly renew at full price without noticing. Both of those things are true at once, and the gap between them is the single most important thing to understand before you buy.

Here is what the pass actually costs as of October 2026, what it renews at, and how to make sure you never get charged for a renewal you did not mean to keep. Every number below comes from Frontier's own GoWild page, its newsroom, or the GoWild sections of its Frontier Miles terms, checked on October 22, 2026.

What the GoWild Pass costs in 2026

Frontier sells the pass in three flavors: seasonal, annual, and monthly. Here is the lineup as of October 22, 2026.

$249The 2026 Fall & Winter Pass on Frontier's GoWild page as of October 22, 2026. Travel runs through February 28, 2027.

The pass Frontier is actively selling right now is the Fall & Winter Pass at $249. It went on sale August 4, 2026 at a $199 introductory price, with a launch promo that ended August 17, 2026. That promo also came with dedicated GoWild seats, early booking for an Early Booking Charge of $29 to $89, and blackout-date access for a Peak Day Charge of $79 to $159, on travel through January 4, 2027. The intro price is gone now. Frontier's sale page still mentions dedicated seats and more early booking options "for a limited time," but it gives no end date, so check what is included when you buy.

At $249, the math is less dramatic than it was in August. Buy today and you get a little over four months of flying, through February 28, 2027, which is still around two dollars a day if you actually use it.

The 2026-2027 Annual Pass is a different story. Frontier's GoWild page still lists it, with no price shown. It launched at a $349 intro offer in November 2025 against a $599 regular price, but we could not confirm a current purchase price on Frontier's site, so we are not going to guess one. If you are shopping for an annual pass, check Frontier directly, and know that the 2026-2027 pass term ends April 30, 2027.

The Summer Pass for 2026 ended on September 30, 2026. Holders who left auto-renew on are set to renew at $399 for summer 2027 (May 1 to September 30, 2027), per Frontier's terms.

A note on the monthly pass, since it looks tempting at first glance. Frontier's terms now list a $139 enrollment fee plus $149 for the first month, both charged when you sign up, then $149 every 30 days on autopilot. Older offers with a free first month are not what the terms show today. That is $288 on day one and $437 after two months, well past the $249 Fall & Winter Pass that covers the rest of the season. The monthly pass only makes sense for a single heavy month of flying, and even then the math is close.

Whichever pass you pick, the price is only half the equation. The pass pays for itself through flights you actually take, and finding open GoWild seats is the hard part. That is the entire reason FlyGoWild exists: it searches every Frontier route from your airport at once and shows the exact GoWild seats left on every flight, which is how a seasonal pass turns into a winter full of $15 flights.

The auto-renewal trap

This is the part we want every pass holder to internalize, because it is where people lose real money.

The GoWild Pass auto-renews by default. Frontier's terms say the annual, Summer, Fall & Winter, and monthly passes all renew automatically unless you cancel before midnight Mountain Time on the last day of your term. The monthly pass is a subscription by design, billing $149 every 30 days until you stop it. Your confirmation email lists the date your pass expires and renews, and if you do nothing, Frontier charges the card on file and rolls you into another term. Renewal charges are non-refundable.

Here is the catch that makes it sting: renewal happens at the renewal price, not the price you paid, and for the annual pass that renewal price is higher than the regular price. Plenty of pass holders bought the 2026-2027 Annual Pass on the $349 offer. If auto-renew stays on, Frontier's terms renew it at $699 for May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028, which is double what those buyers paid and $100 more than the $599 regular price. That is not a knock on Frontier, it is how intro pricing works everywhere. But it means the pass can double in cost between your first year and your second if you are not paying attention.

The seasonal passes work the same way. The Fall & Winter Pass renews at the then-current retail price, which Frontier's terms cap at up to $399, unless you cancel by February 28, 2027. That is up to $200 more than the launch price.

So the honest framing is this. The intro price is the deal. The renewal is the real price. Decide every term, on purpose, whether the real price is worth it for how much you actually flew.

How to turn off GoWild auto-renewal

If you are not sure you want another term, the safest move is to cancel auto-renewal soon after you buy. Then you can buy again later if you decide you want it. Frontier's terms describe the process like this:

  1. Find your renewal date in the GoWild confirmation email. The cutoff is midnight Mountain Time on the last day of your term.
  2. Sign in at flyfrontier.com with the Frontier Miles account you bought the pass with.
  3. Click your name in the upper right corner, then My Profile. Your GoWild Pass status and the cancel option are on that page.
  4. Cancel before the deadline. Do it early, not the night before, so a renewal charge cannot slip through.
  5. Confirm it is off, and if anything is unclear, contact Frontier directly rather than assuming.

Set a calendar reminder for a week before your renewal date too. For the Fall & Winter Pass that means mid-February 2027; for the 2026-2027 Annual Pass, late April 2027. The renewal is easy to forget precisely because it is automatic, and a reminder turns a surprise $699 charge into a deliberate decision.

Is renewing worth it?

That depends on how much you flew. Every GoWild flight books at a one-cent base fare, and Frontier puts domestic taxes and fees at roughly $15.40 per flight (full breakdown in how much a GoWild flight really costs). If you flew constantly and could reliably find seats, $699 for another year can still be a steal. If you only flew a few times, it is not.

There is also a way to answer this with data instead of a gut feeling. Before your renewal date, spend a week running everywhere searches from your home airport on FlyGoWild and see how many GoWild seats actually open on trips you would take. If the map lights up night after night, renew with confidence. If your airport barely shows seats, that is your answer too, and it is much cheaper to learn it from a search page than from a $699 charge.

Last cycle, the cheapest annual prices came in the fall. The 2026-2027 pass opened with a $299 early-access sale in September 2025, and Frontier announced a $349 offer on November 18, 2025, both against a $599 regular price and well under the $699 renewal. As of October 22, 2026, though, Frontier has not announced a 2027-2028 annual pass, so we cannot promise the same rhythm this year.

So the play is simple. Turn off auto-renew, watch for the next annual release, and buy back in on an offer if one comes. If none does by your renewal date, you can still decide with eyes open whether $699 is worth it. Renew on purpose, not on autopilot.

The bottom line

As of October 2026, the Frontier GoWild Pass you can buy today is the $249 Fall & Winter Pass, good through February 28, 2027. Go in knowing two things: every pass auto-renews unless you cancel in your Frontier profile, and renewals are priced from Frontier's terms, not from what you paid, with the annual pass renewing at $699. Skip the monthly pass unless you have exactly one heavy month of flying. Decide on your renewal every term on purpose, turn off auto-renew if you are unsure, and you get all the upside of the pass with none of the surprise charges.

New to the pass? Start with the honest Frontier GoWild Pass guide for the full picture on cost, the booking window, and whether it is worth it for how you travel.

And once you have a pass in hand, the money question stops being the price and starts being how many seats you can actually find. That part we can help with directly.

The steps, in order

  1. Find your renewal date. Open the GoWild confirmation email Frontier sent when you bought the pass. It lists the date your pass expires and auto-renews. Frontier's cutoff is midnight Mountain Time on the last day of your term.
  2. Sign in at flyfrontier.com. Go to flyfrontier.com, click account sign in, and log in with the Frontier Miles account you used to buy the pass.
  3. Open My Profile. Click your name in the upper right corner, then click My Profile. Your GoWild Pass status and the cancel option are shown there.
  4. Cancel before the deadline. Cancel auto-renewal ahead of the renewal date. Do it early, not the night before, so a renewal charge does not go through while you are deciding. Renewal charges are non-refundable.
  5. Confirm it is off. Check that your profile shows the pass will not renew. If anything looks unclear, contact Frontier directly so you are not surprised by a renewal charge.

Questions, answered

How much does the Frontier GoWild Pass cost in 2026? As of October 22, 2026, the only price Frontier posts on its GoWild page is $249 for the Fall & Winter Pass, which covers travel through February 28, 2027. The monthly pass costs a $139 enrollment fee plus $149 for the first month, then $149 every 30 days, per Frontier's terms. The page lists the 2026-2027 Annual Pass without a price; its last published regular price was $599, and it renews at $699. Always confirm the live price on Frontier before buying.

How much is the GoWild Fall & Winter Pass? It is $249 on Frontier's GoWild page as of October 22, 2026, and covers travel through February 28, 2027. It launched on August 4, 2026 at a $199 introductory price, with a launch promo that ended August 17, 2026; the price has since gone up. Frontier's terms say it renews at the then-current retail price, which they cap at up to $399, unless you cancel before midnight Mountain Time on February 28, 2027.

How much is the GoWild monthly pass? Frontier's terms list a $139 enrollment fee and a $149 first-month fee, both charged at enrollment, then $149 at the start of each 30-day period until you cancel. That is $288 on day one. If you cancel and re-enroll within 30 days, the enrollment fee does not apply again. Older offers with a free first month or a lower enrollment fee are no longer what the terms show.

When does the GoWild Pass sale end? There is no single sale with a fixed end date. The most recent dated promo, the $199 Fall & Winter launch price, ended August 17, 2026, and the pass now lists at $249 with no posted deadline. Frontier says intro pricing is limited and first come, first served. As of October 22, 2026, Frontier has not announced a 2027-2028 annual pass sale.

Does the GoWild Pass auto-renew? Yes. Frontier's terms say the annual, Summer, Fall & Winter, and monthly passes all renew automatically unless you cancel in your Frontier Miles profile before midnight Mountain Time on the last day of your term. Your confirmation email lists the date your pass expires and renews.

Does the GoWild Pass renew at the intro price I paid? No. Renewal happens at the renewal price in Frontier's terms, not the intro price. The 2026-2027 Annual Pass renews at $699 for May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028, even if you bought it on a $349 offer and even though its regular price was $599. The 2026 Summer Pass renews at $399, and the Fall & Winter Pass at up to $399. Renewal charges are non-refundable.

When is the cheapest time to buy or renew the GoWild annual pass? In the last cycle the deepest annual-pass prices came in the fall: an early-access sale at $299 in September 2025 and a $349 offer that Frontier announced on November 18, 2025, both against a $599 regular price. As of October 22, 2026, Frontier has not announced the next annual pass, so there is no guarantee the same pattern repeats. Turning off auto-renew keeps your options open either way.

How do I cancel or turn off GoWild Pass auto-renewal? Sign in at flyfrontier.com, click your name in the upper right corner, then click My Profile. Your GoWild Pass status and the option to cancel are on that page. Do it before midnight Mountain Time on the last day of your term, and ideally well before.

What is the difference between the annual, seasonal, and monthly GoWild Pass? The annual pass covers a full year (the 2026-2027 pass runs May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027) and renews at $699. Seasonal passes cover a shorter window: the 2026 Summer Pass ran April 22 to September 30, 2026, and the Fall & Winter Pass runs August 4, 2026 to February 28, 2027 and is $249 today. The monthly pass is $149 every 30 days after a $139 enrollment fee. All of them auto-renew, and every flight is a one-cent base fare plus taxes and fees.
