Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FlyGoWild (“FlyGoWild,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use the FlyGoWild website, applications, alerts, and Discord integration (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide.

  • Account information — your email address and password when you sign up. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes by our authentication provider; we never see your plaintext password.
  • Discord identity — if you sign up with, or link, Discord, we receive your Discord user ID and basic profile information so we can connect your account and send Discord alerts.
  • Profile and preferences — settings such as home airports, saved searches, alert rules, and notification choices.
  • Payment information — if you buy a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not receive or store full card numbers; we receive limited billing and subscription status information from Stripe.
  • Communications — messages you send us (for example, support requests).

Information collected automatically.

  • Usage data — searches you run, features you use, and actions you take on the Service.
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
  • Push subscription data— if you enable web push alerts, your browser’s push subscription endpoint and keys so we can deliver notifications.
  • Cookies and similar technologies— used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. See “Cookies” below.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information, and we ask that you not send them to us.

2. How we use information

  • provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • run flight searches and deliver alerts by email, Discord, and web push;
  • create and manage your account and process subscriptions and payments;
  • enforce tier limits and quotas and prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse;
  • respond to your requests and provide customer support;
  • analyze and improve the Service, and develop new features;
  • send service-related communications and, where permitted, product updates (you can opt out of non-essential messages);
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers that operate the Service under contract, including our authentication and database provider (Supabase), payment processor (Stripe), email provider (Resend), hosting/infrastructure providers (such as Vercel and our API host), and Discord (for the Discord integration). They may process your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FlyGoWild, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • With your direction — when you choose to connect a third party (such as Discord) or otherwise ask us to share.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate you and keep the Service working, and we may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may break sign-in and other features. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others) have these rights to varying degrees. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email us at support@flygowild.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also update many settings or delete your account from within the Service.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Where we operate

The Service is intended for users located in the United States, and we process personal information in the United States. We do not offer the Service to, or direct it at, individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions outside the United States, and we make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in those locations.

10. Third-party services

The Service links to and integrates with third parties such as Frontier Airlines, Discord, and Stripe. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We are not responsible for their practices.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
